Rimmel Eyeshadow Quad Review

Hey xx

I was sorting out my makeup and found two Rimmel eyeshadow quads and i obviously tried them out and thought i would tell you aabout them and my opinion of them.

The first one i found is called  004 "Smoky Blue" It is my favorite out of both of them and i have worn it a few times and i really like it. It is not like the usual black smoky eye it is more blue and it makes it it a bit different to usual. The colours are slightly shimmery but not overly shimmery and it has one white (on the bottom), a silver, a grayish blue and a blue.

The second one is 014 "Bold Behavior" It is quite an interesting eye shadow considering the colours are not ones that i would not necessarily use together but using the diagram to do the style they suggest looked really good and all the colours are so pigmented. It has a really nice creamy base that i put all over my lids and it then has a purple, a green and a black which i use in my crease along with the green and it looks amazing and i may upload pictures of me doing both of these styles.

The clever thing and something i really love about these is the fact that on the bottom it gives you a suggested style, what colour eyes it compliments and different ways to use it which i thought was really helpful especially when i was using it for the first time.

Do you have any Rimmel eyeshadows?

Fashionista Blush

Hey xx

Fashionista Blush

I recently bought a Blush, it is a really nice pinky colour and it is a bit shimmery but for some reason it does not look as shimmery when you put it on. and it also comes across less bright as you would think. I think it is really pigmented and shows up so well.

I really like this and it is showing no sign of going down so should last me ages and i am planning on buying a couple more next weekend with Izzi from Beauty Dictionary so that should be fun. A haul of this will be going up.

I got shade 1 Rose shine

Here is a swatch and it pretty much shows up exactly like this and you are able to spread it out considering how bright you want it.

Have you got any Blushes you like?

Thanks for reading sorry the posts are not as log but i have just had so much work lately they will get longer soon i promise xx

Virgin Vie Bronzing Pearls

Bronzing Pearls

I have never really used bronzer because i don't really in the winter and last summer i wasn't into makeup so i never had one so i found this one in my house not being used and i really like it.

What i do is do a big swirl of all of them and get all of the colours and it is the perfect shade all mixed together.

When i use all the colours together it hardly uses any and i have not used much so it should last ages.

I dont think that they sell this any more and virgin vie has stopped if i am right?? not sure.

Here are all the swatches xx

ageloc Future Serum

Hey xx

The final post of my raffle winnings is here and probably the last one i will post today as i am so tired so really need sleep.

Finally it is the Future Serum which is an anti ageing facial serum as i already use my anti aging night cream as my mum always says you should start young xx

I think in the UK it is priced at around £130 so very pricey... i could never repurchase this and i haven't really used it but i think that it is good considering i have only used it a couple of times it is very refreshing and i'm sure you would have to use it over time to notice a difference but there is 30ml and it looks small but you only need a tiny bit at a time so it would last a long time.

Do you use anti ageing face cream if so which brand?

ageloc Gentle Cleanse and Tone

Hey xx

Another thing that my mum gave me to use because of the raffle was the ageloc Cleanse and Tone foam.
It is a foaming facewash and i use it everyday to wash off my makeup because it is quicker and easier to use face wipes every day.
I looked it up and it said that in was around £30.00 which is so good because we got it free.
I think this is so good and washes off my makeup so well and quickly and i don't react to it so i am happy that i can continue to use it but i'm not sure that i will be able to repurchase it as it is expensive but it has definitely encouraged me to buy a different one maybe simple. But i am going shopping with Izzi next weekend ( i will put the like to her great blog down below) so i may check them out there.

Do you have any face washes.. any good brands?

Aromatherapy Body serum

Hey xx

My mum won a prize at a raffle and it was a basket full of loads of goodies and so she let me have a few of them.

The next 3 posts i will be doing will all be from the raffle.

Firstly i will be talking about the body serum which is basically a hydrating lotion for your body, there is 200ml in here and i think it is really nice as it is not sticky and makes my skin feel much less dry so i use it after showers and shaving.
I looked it up and apparently it is usually around £25.00 :o and we go it for FREE

So i just think that it is so professional and is fast becoming one of my favorite body products.

Have you got any body serum's that you love?

M.U.A Brow Kit Review

Hey xx

Ages ago i got the M.U.A lipsticks and i did a post about them and while i was there i bought the Pro-Brow ultimate eyebrow kit. I just forgot to write about it. So here goes.

I really wanted an eyebrow kit as i have always liked filling in my eyebrow as i feel it makes my face look much more full.
So i bought this one for just £3.50 and i think it is so good considering how inexpensive it is.

It has three powders and one clear gel that sets your eyebrows so the colour doesn't wear out over the day.

The top two colours are for actually colouring your brows in and the bottom left (the cream  one) is to highlight your brow bone. And obviously the setting gel in the bottom right.

I will do a few swatches here xx

Have you got any M.U.A products that you love like me?

Thanks come back any time xx

Pop Tarts

Hey xx

This short post is just to say something that i have been wondering for agess. And it definitely isn't beauty based.

Recently i watched Zoella's Video about her Florida trip and i saw that loads of people gave her pop tarts because she said she loved them and i had heard of them but i had never tried one so i searched if you can get them in England and i found out that Tesco has a range of them there so i asked my mum that if she went in there could she tell me what flavors there were.
Se found them and bought me two boxes. I got the flavours Chocolate Chip and Brown Sugar Cinnamon.

They are sooo nice i love both of them and i am going to go and buy more soon when i run out bu ti wont any time soon because there are 8 in each pack so i am all set.

Sorry about this random post but i just love it so much so blog about anything i can xx

Have you tried any weird flavours of pop tarts and do you like them?

Products I Regret Buying

Hey xx

I have never really wanted to do one of these as i always try to be positive with my writing but i think i would just give you a few products that i really didn't like so you don't make the same mistake as i did.

The first thing is a foundation which was mainly my fault as i should have known and deep down i did i was just in a rush. I was young in the makeup world and i stupidly bought an L.A Colours Foundation from... Sams 99p shop... I know it was stupid but i guess now i gust use it as a back up as it does not give me any coverage. Do not make this mistake go to superdrug or boots.

Next is my first ever powder and seeing as i was again very naive about makeup i used it. It wasn't really a purchase but i regret using it was i was my mums. It is one of those ones that has lost of loose powder in the bottom but then has a few holes so only a bit falls out. The annoying thing about this is that it all comes out in one place when you try to use your brush you get areas where it is caked on and others where is is barely there considering i was using a tiny, rubbish brush.

Next is an eye shadow gel that is a bit like concealer, again i was a freebie but if you were considering buying it, don't because it seems really good but looks awful on and just sticks to any area on your face so you have to keep your eyes closed while it drys which takes agess. It was ok for a while but then became really gloopy.

Recently as i am sure you all saw i did a blog post on the e.l.f brushes that i bought online i loved most of them and use them regularly. All apart from the foundation brush which i just think is too stiff and i used it and realized that i much preferred my other one but now i use the stipple brush so this is the only one which i don't use at all and is just sitting in my draw doing nothing.

I don't paint my nails that regularly but when i do it always stays on, the only problem is that at my school you aren't meant to wear nail polish so i need a supply of remover, i just quickly bought this one ans it was the most inexpensive one but it was just quick i think it was something like £1.60 from boots and even though it was cheap i still really don't like it it takes so much just to get one hand of nail varnish off.

And lastly another one of my first ever products is the natural collections concealer,it is really awful as i recently realized when i tried to use it the other day. It is really hard to rub in, if you rub it too much then it goes really lumpy amd separated but if you don't rub it enough then it is visibly streaky and so is really hard o get right i don't know how i coped.

I hope this wasn't that long for you as i really don't like being negative xx

Have you regret buying any products?

Stay Matte Powder Review

Hey xx

Stay Matte Pressed Powder Review

This was the first pressed powder I have ever bought and my friend recommended this one as this is the one she had and she said it was amazing... she was right.
I got the shade 003 Peach glow and it fits me perfectly.
I think that this powder is so perfect for my skin tone as i have the perfect colour to match my face and makes me look really matte after my foundation which makes me look really shiny and sweaty and thi shas no shimmer in it at all it is completely matte.
I think that the price has gone down to £3.99. I got mine from superdrug.
Here is a picture, this isn't mine my friend bought a spare and i have hit pan so i thought it would be nice to have a never been used one for you to see

April Favorites

Hey xx
As most of you probably know it is coming to the end of the month (April) so it is time for me to do my FIRST monthly favorites post

I have really been liking a few things this month but not as many as I have before. Here is a list of them.

Dumb Blonde Leave in conditioner
River Island Perfect Fragrance
Hands of hope hand cream
Retro t-shirt
Elf stipple brush
Fit Me Foundation and Concealer
Blush brush
Barry M nail polish

Dumb Blonde Leave in Conditioner

I think this is so nice. The reason i have been liking this is probably because it makes my hair look so nice and golden and it also smells amazing and does exactly what it says on the bottle. Even though i don't have highlighted hair it is still amazing and I re-purchased it as soon as it ran out.

River Island Perfect Fragrance
I have never really been really into a specific perfume before but this one i think smells so good it is not too sweet but has a really pretty smell (if that makes any sense). I have had this since my birthday in august but recently just started using it loads and daily and look how much i have used!! and i love it.

Hands of hope hand cream
I sail so much in one week and if you don't know it makes your hands all dry and scaly and its not nice so i really needed some hand cream and i found this and they were better after one day and so its amazing. I'm not sure what brand it was but it is amazing and if you ever see it and get really dry hands BUY IT!

Elf Studio Stipple Brush
I mentioned this brush in my elf brush review and as you probably saw i love it. I have been using it every day to put on my foundation as it does such a good job and gives me a larger overage which i really need some days. I would really recommend this over any foundation brushes.

Fit Me Foundation and Concealer
I was given the fit me concealer for my birthday and i was using a Rimmel foundation but they didn't really go and it was running out so i decided to buy the Fit me Foundation which goes really well with it. I have number 120 and it goes really well with my skin tone and the concealer fits really well it may even be a little light but it does't matter.

Blush brush
The blush brush that i use is surprisingly from primark, me and my friend both got them because they were only £1.00 and it is so soft and is so good at putting on the blush and not caking it on so you look like a tomato. It is also really easy to change the shape of the brush by squidging it to use it for other things. It is naturally pink that's not just my blush changing the colour.

Retro t-shirt
I know this isn't really makeup or beauty based but it has surprisingly been really hot lately so i have been wearing shorts and summery tops so this one is one i love and have been  wearing soo much as it is so slouchy and not tight so good for the hot weather. It is from new look but i don't know if they still sell it because it was my sisters but she gave it to me.

Barry M nail polish
I have really been liking two ontop of eachother one is a relly dark glisteny purple and the other is a really glittery one with so much gold in it. i have been liking them in the colder months but now it is getting warmer i will need to find a more summery nail polish. Any suggestions?

Have you been loving things this month?

e.l.f. brushes

Hey xx
Recently me and my friend made an order off the elf website because there was a deal on.
We mostly ordered brushes not having had them before we didn't know what to expect. I watched a few reviews on you tube and they seemed to have a really good response so I went ahead with it.

I bought a few brushes that i thought i could try out and a couple that i thought i actually needed.

Here is a list of them:
Foundation Brush
Concealer brush
Eye shadow brush
Studio Stipple Brush
Studio Powder Brush
Eyelash Curler

I bought the foundation brush as i had one previously which wasn't really very good it made me look all streaky. So i bought this one and it is really good and gives a nice coverage but i do not use this one for foundation i use my stipple brush as i think that it gives me a heavier coverage.

The concealer brush is smaller than what i would have expected but it still works really well and does not take all of the concealer off my face and i am able to use it with liquid or a stick of concealer.

The eye shadow brush is much wider than i thought it would be which is what i wanted it to be like so it can cover a larger area of my eyelid at a time which is nice

The Studio Stipple Brush is AM-A-ZING i absolutely love it it gives me an amazing coverage and spreads out my foundation really well. This is jut too amazing to describe i would definitely recommend it if you were planning to make an order.

Another one that i would recommend is the Powder brush it is really good at picking up the right amount of powder i need at a time and spreads it out really well.

The eyelash curler was a risky one as i haven't really had any experience with it before so i bought one just to see as it wasn't very expensive and i am so glad i did even though i still struggle a bit to get all of my lashes in there, it definitely makes a difference. It also comes with a spare liner if the other one breaks or gets messed up.

I also bought a concealer stick. I know its not a brush but i just thought i would tell you seeing as i am talking about my order. It is really good at  covering-up and makes my blemishes unnoticeable. I got the colour beige and it matches perfectly.
